Now on Soundcloud. Seems like a cool place to get sucked in even deeper to music exploration. I think I will use it to put some less structured music up or experimental ideas. Yes, now you have to follow that too.

Got some video going now thanks to the new Zoom recorder. Check it out. There should be some content growing there as I get better with the whole visual thing. There should be some more shows in the near future as the weather gets nicer.

The last show at Shogun could have been considered a total disaster. It was raining pretty hard. My equipment was getting wet and flaking out. I ended up playing underneath a bunch of towels and trash bags suspended from the porch frame. But the people who came out and braved the weather were the best. The staff at Shogun were super cool as always. So I'm doing it again. Friday October 26th at 8pm. If anyone has any pics or video from the last show, please send them. There will be some light show this time if the weather permits. 

I will be playing at Shoguns in Tyler September 29th Saturday from 8pm to about 11pm. (The one inside the loop on Broadway) There will be 2 sets. The first one will be the structured Enchanter set. The second one will be more freeform Alchemy set. The weather is nice right now and their outdoor covered patio rocks. The sushi is the best in the area. Come check it out. Flyer to follow. There will be merch at the show, some of it even free.

It has been a long time since I produced any news. Working on the new show ENCHANTOUR and associated light show. The set will reach back into the past, cover some of the present and also include some show exclusive material. If I get my act together, this may produce a DVD. More details soon.

ENCHANTER will be hitting the airwaves somewhere near you soon. Also beginning to work on some new materials and methods for the next release and a live show. Aural Innovations included the song EMPERORS BELT on the latest space rock radio show. Be sure to check out www.space4peace.org to learn about the inspiration for the song. Space is a place for rock, not war. 

A lot has happened since the last update, over a year ago. ENCHANTER is now out on CDBaby, digital release etc. Got the much more enviro-friendly packaging going for this release. Plenty of artwork to wrap the music in. Got the THOMAS AYRESOL release produced: MAXIMUM COMMANDER. As usual, was good to work with Thomas. This is going to be a busy year for me. But I plan on promoting the new cd, turning over the website, starting a label site for TEXISTENTIAL WAVEFORM, working on a show and getting some video material going. Thats a tall order. Hopefully the next update will be on a updated page and with some much needed new content. Time has been in short supply. The studio has been tweaked to new levels of efficiency. I committed deletion on MySpace which was a relief. Really big disappointment overall. I did meet some cool people there, but basically, the whole operation is dead. A kingdom was sacrificed to become a gigantic pointless billboard for advertisers to advertise to one another. Really pathetic. I wish there was some forum like it used to be to network with local bands or like minds. Oh well...back to the voice in the wilderness.

I'm about six songs deep into ENCHANTER and have a few more to go. Also have been working on a THOMAS AYRESOL release to be out soon on TEXISTENTIAL WAVEFORM as usual. A lot of distractions lately. Been absorbing a lot of inspirational music. I should have another live show together later this year. Getting into the whole background video thing takes on a life of it's own. The grass roots solo musician approach gets a little onerous when you expect what I do. Complexity is a pleasure and a burden.

Wow, its been a while since I updated. I didn't even turn the page over for the TRANSIENT release. I guess I was focused on shows and so forth. I have also been busy getting some releases done on the TEXISTENTIAL WAVEFORM label. I have been doing some equipment upgrades, which is distracting in a pleasant way. I am also working on my next release to be titled ENCHANTER. Likely out in 2010, but not sure when. So you see, I am working.
